Join us at East Van’s Mistint Studios for an evening of entertainment and fundraising in support of artists, filmmakers and local community.
A Pair of Socks is a short film inspired by a story from Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
The event aims to use the power of storytelling and the arts to bring people together around an important local issue: homelessness for women and seniors. In support of this mission, 50% of the proceeds from the film A Pair of Socks will go to the Downtown Eastside Women’s Shelter.
We see this as an opportunity to bring together art and film in a way that celebrates Vancouver’s creative community while supporting women and seniors facing homelessness in Vancouver.
